THE MONARO CENTRE
Set amongst a stunning gum forest on the banks of the Cann River, the Monaro Centre is a recently restored, architecturally unique mud-brick building lined with paperbark and utilising the natural gum branches as window frames.
DRUMMER RAINFOREST WALK
Drummer Rainforest walk is set amongst the stunning rainforest to the east of Cann River. This easy walk follows a meandering track dotted with seating and wooden bridges over natural water features. To find out more about other walks + natural wonders of the area, visit
MACKENZIE RIVER RAINFOREST WALK
Experience the unique landscape where eucalypt bush meets riparian rainforest, edging the MacKenzie River. This meandering 1 kilometre walk consists of two timber swing bridges and a myriad of native flora and fauna.
NOORINBEE SCHOOL HALL
Built in 1899, the National Trust listed Noorinbee School Hall is a near original example of regional educational institutes still in their original location. This important piece of history is well-worth the 5-minute drive, or better yet jump on your bike and cycle the gum-lined walking track to the site.
CANN RIVER TOWNSHIP
The Main Street of Cann River is the perfect place to base yourself for a day of exploring. Grab a coffee and delicious meal from one of the cafes or sit for a pub meal, let the kids loose on the playground and utilise the electric vehicle charging stations.
NEVILLE FALLS
